“There is so much information out there for mothers during their prenatal period but rarely do I see anything that talks about what happens after. There are no rituals or celebrations for you, the mother. Often times the new mother is left alone & unsure which has lead to postpartum mood disorders, unhealed trauma & insecurities for countless mothers across the globe.

I am here to educate and celebrate you! "

Ayurveda

Using this ancient practice of Ayurveda or “The Science of Life” you can begin to recover from the tasking energy needed to make and birth your baby.

If you are new to Ayurveda, let’s dive in a little.

Abhyanga

Ayurvedic bodywork done for mom is a vital pillar offered from an AyurDoula. Done with warm sesame oil in the comfort of your very own home, this is a one of kind offering that will deeply heal, and nourish you in your postpartum time and beyond.

The Sanskrit word Sneha can be translated as both “oil” and “love.” It is believed that the effects of Abhyanga are similar to those received when one is saturated with love. Like the experience of being loved, Abhyanga can give a deep feeling of stability and warmth.

Breath Work, Mediation & Yoga Practices

Breath work and Yoga practices is yet another vital pillar to our offerings. We use very specific breathing techniques to help either tone, or let tension off the pelvic floor, along with aid in deep relaxation.

Yoni Steaming

Yoni steaming is similar to a sitz bath, but so much better. Using all herbs that support your pelvic floor, they will aid in deep tissue recovery, lessen lochia, and can help with hemorrhoids post birth.

The Golden Hour

The first hour after your baby is born will set up your breastfeeding success for months to come, that is how important it is to learn about the “Golden Hour”. This hour after birth is an integral part of the transition your baby needs to help secure and prepare them for the best possible transition.

Immediate breastfeeding will cause the uterus to contract and can decrease bleeding, along with many other benefits for both Mother and Baby.

And so much for you Mama
